Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) Airmen with the New Jersey Air National Guard's 227th Air Support Operations Squadron, hook up to their Special Patrol Infiltration Exfiltration System (SPIES) at Coyle Drop Zone, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., to train for a SPIES demonstration at the 2017 Atlantic City Airshow above the Atlantic City, N.J., boardwalk Aug. 23, 2017. Two groups of TACP Airmen will be flown suspended by a SPIES system by UH-60 Black Hawks with the 1-150th Assault Helicopter Battalion, New Jersey Army National Guard. SPIES is used for extracting special operations personnel when an aircraft cannot land.
