description

Summary

Tech. Sgt. Justin Leonard, left, and Senior Airman Kayla Russell, both 9th Airlift Squadron loadmasters, keep watch on the rear wheels of a Western Star Constellation truck as it rolls backwards up the DAMAS 26K loading ramp into the cargo compartment of a C-5M Super Galaxy March 3, 2016, on Dover Air Force Base, Del. The new loading ramp system known as DAMAS 26K which stands for DOMOPS Airlift Modular Approach Shoring, can be set up by two or three individuals in 14 minutes and was used in this annual training requirement to validate its use by updating the Air Transportability Test Loading Activity certification. This made it approved for use on military aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo/Roland Balik)
