Tech. Sgt. Michael McKnight discusses the characteristics of the M-249 Squad Automatic Weapon to a class of Afghan National Army officers and noncommissioned officers at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan on Oct. 23, 2013. McKnight is a native of Houston and deployed from Hill Air Force Base to the 455th Expeditionary Base Defense Group where he is the NCO in-charge of Combat Arms and Active Shooter. The three-day training is designed as a train-the-trainer program to assist the ANA as they incorporate new weapons into their units.
