The Allied Prisoners in the German Captivity in the First World War
Jules Capin, a French soldier who was captured by the Germans in September 1914. He escaped, and since then has been secreted by his wife in the attic of his own house at Masnieres till its capture by the British on November 1917. German officers were billeted in the house. Capin had a three-year old child. Taken 4 December 1917, in Amiens.
