The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104) steams towards Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Rappahannock (T-AO 204) in the early hours of the morning. Sterett is underway in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility as part of the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group. Carl Vinson and its embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17, are on deployment in the 7th Fleet area of operations supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
