Summary
Satire on the governments alleged manipulation of the constitution and the king; Jeremiah Dyson (repreented by a die and the sun) stiched the coat representing the king while Lord Mansfield, Fletcher Norton, and the Dukes of Bedford and Grafton sit behind cross-legged as tailors; Princess Audusta's hooped petticoat hangs above them and below are bags of "Money" and "Saved by Cabbage" (an allusion to the tailor's perquisite of offcuts); illustration to the Oxford Magazine, 1770
