The Distinguished Service Cross hangs from the pocket of Chief Warrant Officer 3 Jason W. Myers, U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS) after receiving it from Lt. Gen. Fran Beaudette, commander, U.S. Army Special Operations Command during a ceremony at the USAJFKSWCS auditorium at Fort Bragg, North Carolina May 8, 2019. This is Myers’ second award of the Distinguished Service Cross and was awarded for exceptional gallantry and extraordinary heroism while engaged against an enemy of the United States while he served as an assistant detachment commander on November 10-11, 2011 in Afghanistan.
