Summary
A central panel with a dog supporting an unconscious boy on the shore, the sea behind, surrounded by twelve scenes demonstrating the dog's use to mankind, ten with subtitles: 'Newfoundland sledge / The shepherds dog / The watch dog / The terrier / Mount St Bernards dog / The Cape dog / Dog-skin collars / The pointer / The blind mans guide / Esquimaux sledge"; the two remaining scenes of shop fronts, selling gloves and cheap caps; one of a set of prints made for the Home and Colonial Infant School Society.
