description

Summary

The driver’s-eye look of the helmet-mounted display shows the dual projection devices to enable depth while driving closed-hatch. Sensors in the vehicle’s driver compartment detect the position and movement of the driver’s helmet, adjusting the display accordingly. TARDEC, with Honeywell Aerospace and DARPA, are demonstrating a proof-of-concept for closed-hatch driving using high-resolution stereo vision at Detroit Arsenal in Warren, Michigan, June 12, 2018.
