Summary
Brougham, in wig and gown, writes, bending over the table. The shadow of his profile, caricatured, and with elongated nose which seems to be dipping into the ink-pot, is thrown on the wall beside him. On the floor is a copy of '[The Ti]mes'. A wall-clock behind him (left) points to 3 o'clock. Below the design is his signature: 'yrs H Brougham'. December 1831
