PEARL HARBOR (Oct. 29, 2013) The family of Pearl Harbor survivor Coxswain Gale Mohlenbrink commits his ashes to the sea near the USS Utah Memorial on Ford Island. Mohlenbrink's remains joined the remains of more than 50 Sailors still aboard the wreckage of the battleship USS Utah (AG 16), which sank during the Dec. 7, 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Mohlenbrink was assigned to a shore working party from the heavy cruiser USS Northampton (CA 26) during the attack.
