The first- and second-place teams for the Multinational Battle Group-East Excellence in Competition shooting match pose for a group photo during an award ceremony held Feb. 19, 2016, at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. From left to right, the second-place team consisted of Polish Army 2nd Lieutenants Lukasz Szeloch and Lukasz Nicpon, Capt. Tomasz Jonik and U.S. Army Col. Christopher Selvey, and first-place team consisted of German Army Maj. Falk Grundshok, Turkish Army Capt. Hanifi Savas, U.S. Army Lt. Col. Jeffrey LaPierre and Capt. Christopher Gibb. The multinational competition consisted of timed shooting iterations from various positions on different style targets, allowing the top-performing 10 percent of the competitors to qualify for the bronze badge using a rifle and pistol.
