KODIAK, Alaska (Feb. 14, 2006)--Coast Guard Petty Officer Scott McNabb leans out the cabin door of an HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter while guiding the pilots, Lt. Scott Powers and Lt. Todd Bloch, as they attempt to pick up a sling load at the Coast Guard Long Range Navigation Station at Narrow Cape, Tuesday. A Jayhawk crew from Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak flew down to Narrow Cape to conduct training exercises and assist the Kodiak Launch Complex. The crew practiced confined landings, sling lifts and moveda large cameraand some equipment to a remote site on the launch complex in preparation for the upcoming missile launch.
