The oil painting, US Navy Photogrpah

WASHINGTON (Feb. 07, 2014) The oil painting "Windward Hill," by Albert Murray, painted in 1943, was found in 2001 in an auction on the Ebay website. It was the first misappropriated painting recovered by Navy Art Collection head curator Gale Munro. Munro has since recovered other misappropriated works of art.
