Photograph of the original Highland Park Presbyterian Church building, designed by Architect Thornton Fitzhugh and constructed in 1905, Los Angeles, ca.1905. The building was later replaced in 1923 by the present Gothic structure designed by George Lindsey. This building was an excellent example of Mission Revival architecture. It features multicurved parapets, arched and semi-circular windows, and an arcade. A bell tower is visible (center left). The lawn in front is well manicured.
