The People's Liberation Army officials board an Army UH-60 Blackhawk following a visit to the 25th Infantry Division's Lightning Academy. PLA Officials visited Oahu on their way to the 2019 U.S. - China Disaster Management Exchange on Hawaii Island. The United States hosts this 15th iteration of the security coordination event designed to maximize interaction on humanitarian-assistance and disaster-response operations and enable sharing of lessons learned.
