The pilot and co-pilot of a 71st Air Rescue Squadron (71st ARS) HH-3E Jolly Green Giant helicopter prepare for take off on the final stage of the HH-3E's journey to the for the final stage of its trip to the Aircraft Maintenance and Regeneration Center at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. Another of the squadron's HH-3Es is remaining at Kirtland. The helicopters are being relocated in preparation for the squadron's deactivation on June 1, 1991.
