Summary

The Soldiers of 1st Battalion, 3d United States Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), perform an Army Full Honor Funeral for Sgt. Wilson Meckley in Section 60, Arlington National Cemetery, Va., April 4, 2016. Meckley was assigned to Company A, 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division during the Korean War. While operating in the Chosin Reservoir Meckley's element was overwhelmed and he was reported missing on December 2, 1950. On March 28, 2016 it was announced by The Department of Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) that Meckley's body had been recovered. (U.S. Army Photos by Sgt. Cody W. Torkelson)
