The time occnpiedin erecting was about five weeks, and the brick lining occu-pied twenty days. The saving in coat over a brick stack wasabout 25 per cent. The electrical equipment is of the trolley type, overheadconstruction, carried on the pole-bracket system. Thepoles are built in three sections of G-in., 6-in. and 7-iu.beat tubular steel, made by overlajjping joints, shrunktogether while hot. The double-bracket pole, placed inthe streets where double tracks are laid, will carry an arclamp besides the trolley wires; the single-bracket pole thetrolley wires only.
