The Zigzag Trail - National Parks Gallery
Summary
The zigzag trail, also known as the Boy Scout Trail, climbed the east face of the bluff. At a higher point, a ladder was used to make it to the top. It was the first maintained trail in the monument. There was a picnic area at the base, one of the first improvements in the new national monument. Remnants of the trail are still visible.
