Theresa Larson, Vice President of Nursing and Clinical Services at Sanford Health Fargo, Fargo, N.D., describes the hospital’s efforts to best approach the COVID-19 pandemic to Lt. Gen. Laura J. Richardson, commanding general of U.S. Army North (Fifth Army) and the Joint Force Land Component Command, Dec. 15, 2020. The Department of Defense supported the North Dakota Department of Health’s efforts to fight the pandemic by assigning approximately 10 nurses to Sanford Health Fargo to work alongside the hospital’s staff.
