Summary
The homes in Llewellyn Park, where Thomas Edison' Glenmont estate sits, were touted as "Country Homes for City People." For Students from the Stephen T Mather Building Arts and Craftsmanship High School, Glenmont serves as an classroom where these 10th grade students apply and expand their skill and knowledge of Cultural Landscape Preservation. At Glenmont, part of Thomas Edison National Historical Park, Mather students have replanted a few dozen missing specimen trees, rejuvenated turf , pruned historic hedges and helped rejuvenate a historic flower bed on the grounds.
