Three employees of the Afghan National Army's (ANA) central workshop work on weapons in the small arms repair section of a national depot level maintenance facility in Kabul province, Afghanistan, Aug. 8, 2012. The central workshop employs both soldiers and civilians, to include a few female employees who provide repair and fabrication for all the ANA equipment, with the majority of work occurring on vehicles, weapons, and communication equipment. Regional Support Command-East and the Deputy Command of Support Operations under NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan has logistics mentors and advisers working closely with the Afghan partners to improve the facility.
