Trees blown over by Typhoon Chataan
Summary
Santa Rita, Guam (Jul. 06, 2002) Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Four Zero (NMCB 40) begin the long laborious task of dismembering one of the many trees blown over by Typhoon Chataan. The typhoon struck the area on the 4th of July and poured ten inches of rain on the island in less than a day. The typhoon accumulated sustained winds of 110 knots and gusts of up to 135 knots.
