Two Pairs of Earrings and Armbands
Summary
These gold earrings and armbands are hollow to reduce their weight and maximize their surface area. The intricate floral motifs consist of six and twelve repeated segments. The ornaments are worked from the back in the repoussé technique (hammered from the back), while the interior surface was left smooth where it touches the skin.
