This untitled illustration by cartoonist Clifford Berryman, which appeared in the Washington Post on March 12, 1905, depicts President Theodore Roosevelt dealing a hand of cards in his "Square Deal" domestic program policy, which delighted the Democratic donkey, but made the Republican elephant somewhat nervous.
