U.S Air Force airmen from the 621st Contingency Response Wing, stationed at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. and U.S. Army Soldiers of the 688th Rapid Port Opening Element from Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., provide air mobility and logistics support at Mackall Army Airfield, N.C. during Joint Operational Access Exercise 12-02, June 3, 2012. JOAX is a two-week forcible entry and ground combat exercise to prepare Air Force and Army service members to respond to worldwide crises and contingencies.
