U.S. Air Force Maj. Peter Milohnic watches as USAF Capt Jonathan Gration, breaks away in his USAF F-15C Eagle fighter as he prepares to enter the landing pattern on their return to home base after training sortie over the Atlantic Ocean during the Eagle's last week of flying under the 27th Fighter Squadron, Langley Air Force Base, Va., on Sept. 22, 2004. Both aircraft are carrying AIM-9M Sidewinder missile and AIM-120C Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM). After Oct. 1st, the 27th FS will officially migrate from an F-15 squadron to the first operational F/A-22 Raptor squadron currently due to arrive in mid 2005.
