U.S. Airmen from the 116th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES), Georgia Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve 452nd CES, check measurements while constructing the second floor of a building during Innovative Readiness Training at Camp Paumalu Girl Scout Camp, Hawaii, July 15, 2019. The 116th CES, from Robins Air Force Base, Ga., joined forces with the Air Force Reserves 452nd CES, from March Air Force Base, Calif., during the real-world construction mission to support the Girl Scouts of Hawaii in building a science, technology, engineering, and math-based, or STEM, learning center at the camp while gaining crucial experience for wartime missions. They were supported by personnel from the 116th Air Control Wing’s services, medical, vehicle maintenance, and public affairs units as well as fire fighters from the Pennsylvania Air National Guard’s 171st Air Refueling Wing.
