U.S. Ambassador to Denmark Laurie S. Fulton, speaks to musicians from Commander, U.S. Naval Forces, Wood Wind Quintet, during a reception she is hosting to welcome guests from Africa, Northern Europe and the U.S. who are attending the two-day conference on the Role of Women in Global Security in the Danish Foreign Ministry’s Conference Center at Eigtveds Pakhus. The conference is co-hosted by U.S. Embassy in Denmark and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will focus on experiences in Afghanistan, Liberia and Uganda where women have significant opportunities to effect change in active conflict and post-conflict zones.
