U.S. and Republic of Korea Soldiers learn the basics of directing fire from U.S. and NATO aircraft, artillery, and naval vessels April 19 at Camp Casey, South Korea. The first-of-its-kind Joint Fires Observer training, hosted by Soldiers of the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team “Ironhorse,” 1st Cavalry Division; and taught by instructors from the 428th Field Artillery Brigade, Fires Center of Excellence, from Fort Sill, Oklahoma, was three years in the making.
