Summary

U.S. and South Korean soldiers assigned at the Joint Security Area participate in the Barrett-Bonifas Memorial Ceremony on Camp Bonifas Aug. 16. The ceremony is in honor of the two officers, Capt. Arthur Bonifas, the Joint Security Force company commander, and 1st Lt. Mark Barrett, the 1st platoon leader, who were killed by Korean People’s Army guards during the Axe Murder Incident 37 years ago. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Carlos R.
