U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Maj. Gen. Kendall P. Cox, commander of the Transatlantic Division, is all smiles as he thanks military service members and civilian employees for their continued service during a town hall meeting at the Qalaa House compound in Kabul, Afghanistan, on Dec. 15. Qalaa House serves as the headquarters for the Corps of Engineers in northern Afghanistan. The Transatlantic Division supports the Corps of Engineers mission in the U.S. Central Command's area of operations, which consists of 20 countries from Egypt through the Persian Gulf to Central Asia.
