Summary

U.S. Army Sgt. Sarah Fehlberg, an advanced trauma life support (ATLS) medic for the 541st Forward Surgical Team (FST) Airborne), starts an IV on a wounded Afghan National Policeman at Forward Operating Base (FOB) Farah, Nov. 20. The policeman was treated at FOB Farah by the FST following a targeted Taliban attack that killed a former Taliban who left the insurgency to join the Afghan National Police.
