Summary
U.S. Army Soldiers from the South Carolina National Guard, prepared for a seven-mile ruck march before the sun came up March 17, 2019 at McCrady Training Center, South Carolina as part of the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge qualification. The Soldiers walked, jogged and ran up and down hills beginning at 6:00 a.m. and all completed the event within the two-hour required time limit. American and German Soldiers trained and competed together March 15-17, to build camaraderie, relationships, and enhance physical fitness and tactical skills proficiency. It is an international collaboration to bolster relationships between U.S. Armed Forces and the German Armed Forces Command. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
