U.S. Marine Chief Warrant Officer 5 Joshua Smith, the division gunner, 2nd Marine Division congratulates Cpl. Patrick C. Mulcahy, a section leader with 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division after his promotion to the rank of Corporal at Fort Irwin, California, March 12, 2019. Mulcahy was recognized by Maj. Gen. Furness for his superior performance of duties and meritoriously promoted to the rank of Corporal. The Marines of 2d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion participated in National Training Center 19-05 as the opposing force against the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division.
