U.S. Marine Corps First Sgt. John Schlaud clears an area using a loader-backhoe during Exercise Predator Walk May 20 at Mount Bundey Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia. Marines with Marine Rotational Force – Darwin have been participating in bilateral training with the Australian soldiers, including dry and live-fire exercises with air and ground elements. This deployment demonstrates the interoperability and combined capability of a Marine Air Ground Task Force with Australian allies.
