Brashad Sanders, a landing support specialist with Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, protects his face from a sand cloud produced by an MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft April 5, 2014, during an external lift exercise as part of Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course 2-14 at Landing Zone Bull at the Chocolate Mountain Aerial Gunnery Range in California. The Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course, hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron (MAWTS) 1, is designed to teach the six functions of Marine Corps aviation while providing the closest experience to real combat strategy, tactics and execution.
