U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. John Fettes, with Marine Wing Support Squadron 172, spreads stucco on a wall at a multipurpose building being constructed at the Ban Lang Khao School, Nakhon Ratchasima, Jan. 31, 2012. MWSS-172 is part of Marine Wing Support Group 17, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. The building is being constructed at the school by the combined efforts of Royal Thai airmen, local contractors and U.S. Marines with MWSS-172 in support of Exercise Cobra Gold 2012. Humanitarian and civic assistance projects are being conducted preceding the official kickoff of CG 12, scheduled for Feb. 7. HCAs include engineering, medical and dental projects designed to build relationships and improve interoperability between partner nations.
