U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Marvin Henry, a Clarndon,

description

Summary

U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Marvin Henry, a Clarndon, Jamaica native, cleans the breach of an M777A2 lightweight 155 mm howitzer after firing a projectile in support of an air assault course June 29 at Bradshaw Field Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia. The AAC was a bilateral combined arms training event that combined light infantry, indirect fire weapons systems and air assets to capture and fight through a mock enemy objective. The concept of a rotational MAGTF is a cost-effective way to expose U.S.-based Marine units to various training environments while maintaining military partnerships with the Australian Defence Force and regional partners throughout Southeast Asia. Henry is an artilleryman with 3rd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine regiment under the unit deployment program. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by SSgt. A very large dataset of various big guns, howitzers, mortars, columbiads, all types of canon-like things - everything besides machine guns and rockets. This collection as well as all massive collections on Picryl.com required two steps: First, we picked a set to train AI vision to recognize cannon artillery, and after that, ran all 25M+ images in our database through our image recognition network. All media in the collection is in the public domain. There is no limitation on the dataset usage - educational, scientific, or commercial.
