U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Zachery Berry, assigned to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), participates in combat stretcher training in the hangar bay of the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5), Nov. 9, 2012, in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Peleliu, the flagship of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group, was deployed to the region with the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20), the amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47) and embarked Marines with the 15th MEU to conduct maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
