U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Henry Hortenstine, an operations officer, was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal by Col. David A. Suggs, commanding officer, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma at the base operations building, June 4, 2020. During Sentinel Edge 2019, Hortenstine led the largest exercise in Marine Corps history, moving troops and equipment in an effort to build new roads and integrate Marine Forces Reserve with active-duty Marines.
