U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Bryan Battaglia, the senior enlisted advisor to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, visits with U.S. and coalition troops during a visit to Camp Taji, Iraq, Oct. 11, 2015. Battaglia visited different locations and service members supporting Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve to see the progress of the building partner capacity sites and to speak with troops on ground. Battaglia serves as the principal military advisor to the chairman and the secretary of Defense on all matters involving joint and combined total force integration, utilization, health of the force and joint development for enlisted personnel.
