U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Andrew Morey, with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367 (HMLA-367), UH-1Y tactics crew chief, fires the GAU-17 minigun during Forward Air Controller (Airborne) training near Yuma, Ariz., Oct. 14, 2015. The exercise is part of Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) 1-16, a seven week training event, hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) cadre, which emphasizes operational integration of the six functions of Marine Corps aviation in support of a Marine Air Ground Task Force.
