U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Kyle D. Jones receives a challenge

U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Kyle D. Jones receives a challenge coin from Maj. Gen. Christopher S. Owens during exercise Cobra Gold 2013 Feb. 15 at Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand. Jones was recognized by Owens for his outstanding performance during field training. During his visit, Owens toured the Marine base camp and spoke with Marines and sailors about the importance of multinational and bilateral training in the Asia-Pacific region. Jones is a motor vehicle operator with Combat Assault Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, and Owens is the Marine Force commander for the exercise and the commanding general of 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III MEF.
