U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. David B. Scranton, a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter crew chief with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, scans the water below his aircraft during a flight near the coast of Belize, July 8, 2018. The SPMAGTF-SC aviation detachment conducted this exercise to prepare for transporting Marines from ship to shore in the event of a natural disaster or humanitarian operation. The Marines and sailors of SPMAGTF-SC are conducting security cooperation training and engineering projects alongside partner nation military forces in Central and South America.
