U.S. Marines Corps Lance Cpl. Casey Spangler assigned to 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, is assisting in wildland fire fighting efforts near the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Oct. 15, 2020. Approximately 250 Marines from 7th ESB help fight the August Complex fires in Northern California. Through U.S. Army North, U.S. Northern Command remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the National Interagency Fire Center to respond quickly and effectively to protect people, property, and lands.
