U.S. Marines with 1st Platoon, Echo Company, 2nd Battalion

U.S. Marines with 1st Platoon, Echo Company, 2nd Battalion 4th Marines, Battalion Landing Team, assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit(MEU), board a MV-22 Osprey during Exercise Koolendong 13 at Bradshaw Field Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia on September 2nd, 2013. The 31st MEU is currently conducting Exercise Koolendong 13 to demonstrate its ability to move a Battalion sized force along with allied counterparts miles inland while independently sustaining itself for any type of mission that might take place as America's force of choice in the Asia-Pacific Region.
