U.S. Marines with 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, demonstrate a beach assault at Camp Lejeune, N.C., May 9, 2018. The Marine Corps has partnered up with NASCAR to promote Marine Week Charlotte, scheduled to take place Sept. 5-9, as well as NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600. Marine Week will allow Marines and Sailors throughout II Marine Expeditionary Force to interact with the Charlotte community, unifying the Marine Corps and the public.
