U.S. Marines with Aviation Combat Element assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit refuel a MV-22 Osprey during Exercise Koolendong 13, Bradshaw Field Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia, Sept 3, 2013. The 31st Meu is currently conducting Koolendong 13 to demonstrate its ability to move a Battalion sized force along with allied counterparts miles inland while independently sustaining itself for any type of mission that might take place as America's force of choice in the Asia-Pacific Region.
